Contract text you submit: When you use ClauseGuard to analyze a contract, the text you select or paste is sent to our servers for AI-powered analysis. This text is processed solely to provide you with risk analysis results and is not stored permanently on our servers.
Usage data: We store your daily usage count locally on your device to enforce the free tier limit (3 analyses per day). This data never leaves your device.
No personal information: We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information unless you create a Pro account.
We do not sell, trade, or share your contract text or personal information with third parties, except as necessary to operate our AI analysis service (e.g., our hosting provider). All third-party service providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Contract text submitted for analysis is processed in real time and is not stored on our servers after the analysis is returned. Local usage data (stored in your browser) can be cleared by uninstalling the extension.
All data transmitted between the extension and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
Since we do not store your contract text, there is no personal data to retrieve or delete. If you have a Pro account and wish to delete your account data, please contact us at the email below.
ClauseGuard is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
